Frida Kahlo themed race

Frida Kahlo-themed race is being prepared in Mexico City! Save the date in October.

Participate in this race to celebrate Frida Kahlo’s 116th anniversary.

Frida Kahlo was born on July 6, 1907, and to honor the 116th anniversary of her arrival, Pasión Olímpica, Saba, and Frida Kahlo Corporation are organizing a 5 and 10 km race. You can participate dressed up as Frida! The event will take place on October 8th at 7 pm.

The route is not yet known, but a maximum capacity of 2,500 runners is expected. Prizes will be prepared for the top three overall winners in both distances. Category awards will only be given for the 10 km distance according to the age groups, for both male and female participants.

You can now register on the official website of Pasión Olimpica. Please note that the minimum age to register is 15 years.

The cost is $649 plus service fees until October 6th. If you wish to register on October 7th, one day before the event, the cost increases to $700 and is subject to availability.

Please note that there will be no on-site registrations on the day of the race, so we suggest you register as soon as possible to secure your spot in this Frida-filled event.

Upon registration, each participant will receive a kit that includes:

– Commemorative event t-shirt
– Finisher’s medal (only upon completing the race)
– RFID chip to record your times (you must return it after crossing the finish line)
– Finish line photo
– Hydration stations along the route (every 2.5 km)
– Access to the recovery area at the finish line
– Wristband according to the color of your estimated time in the 5 km race

You still have time to train and take on those 10 km. Don’t forget to dress up to celebrate this 116th anniversary of the artist.
