Festival of Flavors and Crafts

The Palace of Autonomy will hold the 1st Festival of Flavors and Crafts in Mexico City.
September is approaching, and this month is synonymous with celebration in Mexico. The Mexican way of celebrating, the way of holding patriotic festivities, has been the subject of study by many thinkers. Apart from decorating the streets in green, white, and red, regional musical pieces are played and danced to, and we get to taste the various traditional dishes that our country offers.
The patriotic month begins with the Festival of Flavors and Crafts, which aims to celebrate the cultural and gastronomic diversity that the country offers. That’s why they have a wide variety of food, drinks, and even crafts to also please your sight with their colorful presentations.
At this event, there will be products made from corn, cacao, and amaranth; various characteristic Mexican dishes including enchiladas, cochinita pibil, tlayudas, pozole, sandwiches, tamales, tostadas, mole, guisados tacos, and more.
This is the first edition of the Mexico Flavors and Crafts Festival, featuring various exhibitors offering traditional beverages such as tascalate, chilate, pozol, café de olla, chocolate (cold and hot), aguas frescas, and fruit juices, so you can choose the best companions for your meals.
Furthermore, you will also find typical sweets, handmade ice creams, chocolates, and more. Regarding crafts, you’ll be able to acquire unique pieces that represent Mexico; so if you need molcajetes or molinillos for your home, you’re sure to find them here. There will also be textiles and jewelry available, in case you need new accessories.
People of all ages can attend the Mexico Flavors and Crafts Festival, so you can bring your family or friends along to spend two days trying delicious dishes from the vast Mexican cuisine.
The festival will be accompanied by live music for dancing, as well as many free cultural activities for the whole family.
