Unicity: Abraxorama

Unicity: Abraxorama: an experience with mapping, luminous attire, and sensory dramaturgy to connect with the cosmos.
Art serves to connect and understand the experiences of reality. In that sense, a sensory experience that manages to connect you with the universe could become very interesting. That’s what Unicity: Abraxorama is – an exploration of sensory immersion with mapping and 3D audio that aims to connect you with everything all at once.
“It’s an infinite work that we all create together. We are the creator and the created, the observer and the observed. We are the great fabric and the weaver,” says Sensorama, the company responsible for creating this experience. They achieve this through sound design for wireless headphones, sensory goggles, video mapping, luminous costumes, luminous devices, sensory dramaturgy, and interaction with the artists.
With all this stimulation, they aim for the viewer to ask questions like: What do I feel? What do I think? What internal and emotional sensations do I have? And it’s precisely about generating questions rather than having definite and unequivocal answers.
When can we see Unicity: Abraxorama?
Unicity: Abraxorama will have only 6 showings over two weekends: Saturday, August 26, and Sunday, August 27, at 6 pm. Saturday, September 2, and Sunday, September 3, at 3 and 6 pm.
It will take place at the Sensorama space at Zacatecas 155, Roma. The cost is $200 per person, and we believe it’s quite interesting, as long as we view it more as a stage performance than an exhibition.
What do you think? Have you participated in experiences of this kind before?
