Zombie Walk

The zombie virus will infect the entire CDMX with one of the most anticipated marches of the year and a social cause: The Zombie Walk.
It doesn’t matter if you are a slow or fast zombie, whether you have a bit of self-awareness or are just undead craving brains: the virus is in Mexico City with Zombie Walk Mexico, and we hope you put on your best costume and join the hordes of evil and terror that will plague the city.
Furthermore, Zombie Walk Mexico 2023 comes with a prize for the best infected, a whopping 50 thousand pesos, and the winners will have the opportunity to participate in various recordings and activities.
This year, at least 25 thousand people dressed up or disguised as zombies are expected, in addition to the number of attendees who are only there to take photos and videos. As if that weren’t enough, this march is expected to have a social cause where efforts will be made to support the organization “Unidos Distribuimos y Transformamos” (United We Distribute and Transform).
This foundation focuses on improving the nutrition, health, and well-being of the vulnerable population through the rescue and distribution of food and goods, as well as training for responsible consumption. The donation requested is voluntary and consists of non-perishable foods such as canned tuna, bags of rice, beans, among others.
So, put on your best zombie costume, and if you don’t win first place, don’t worry. Because in 2023, the top six (three women and three men) outfits and characterizations will be rewarded and distributed among the winners, with the prize being awarded by the “Castle of Terror.”
A jury will select the top 10 zombies or infected individuals, and the winners will be decided through a vote. The only requirement to participate is to wear your best zombie costume and make a donation for the food collection.
As part of the march, there will be various activities such as illustration challenges, photo rallies, and even a Kpop dance showcase and other genres. If you don’t want to participate but want to watch the march, just head to the route they will follow, and you’re all set.
